Dear Family, Hello.
So
the photograph here is a ¨check¨ we got from an Evangelist lady, Elder
Frogely and I enjoyed it immensely and hope you do as well.
This
week we taught Servilia. It was our third visit with her and she´s
kinda bonkers, she loves God but her doctrine is a bit backwards. We
left her with a book of Mormon and invited her to read and pray. Were
going to visit her tonight so we shall see what happens.
Saturday
we had our first Baptism! Here name is Daphni and Elder Frogely
baptized her Saturday evening in the Ocean! Daphni was terrified but she
made it and over the noise of the surf, Elder Frogely completed the
Ordinance of Baptism! Then they both fell into the water. They came out
of the water very wet and happy. I´m sorry I don´t have a picture today
but I will for next week! Next Saturday we are having another baptism
that will be in our new church! We are all rather excited to finally
have another church building, and our three investigators will be the
first three to be baptized there!
This Sunday
we had a great lesson with them, Antonio, Miriam, and Lilliani, on the
Restoration. We emphasized the importance of praying to know the truth
and challenged them to pray that night!
At
church Sunday morning we gave Daphni the Gift of the Holy Ghost. The
second Counselor did the ordinance, I don´t know it yet, and it was
great. I was crazy nervous but it was great!
